For the Parents

Hello Parents! This blog is for the students but also for you parents! I feel that it is important for parents to be involved in their child's learning. This blog will keep you up to date on what we are learning in class, our schedule, and it was let you know what events are coming up! This blog also allows students to see what their homework is, to watch videos and view pictures to help them in their learning, and play interactive learning games!
I'm excited to get to know all of you parents and to work with you towards the success of our students! Feel free to contact me at any time by email. I'm excited about the possibilities for the students this year!

The Life Cycle of a Butterfly

In science, we learned about the life cycle of a butterfly. Next week we are going to have a class caterpillar and we will watch the process of how it turns into a butterfly! In case students have forgotten what we learned, here is a picture of a butterfly's life cycle.

Watch this video of a monarch butterfly and it's process of turning into a butterfly from a caterpillar.

After watching this video, draw a picture of the life cycle of a butterfly. Also, come up with three questions about the life cycle of a butterfly.
Bring these two things to school on Wednesday.
